Potato Moong Cutlets

Ingredients :

Potatoes, boiled –  5 nos.
Bread slices (edges trimmed) – 3 nos.
Bread crumbs – 1/2 cup
Salt to taste

For filling –

Moong, soaked and boiled – 1 cup
Green chillies, chopped finely – 3 nos.
Fresh coconut, grated – 1 tbsp
Coriander leaves, chopped – ½ cup
Chaat masala – 1 tsp
Lemon juice – 1 tsp
Salt to taste

Method :

Grate the boiled potatoes. Add the bread slices and salt and mash well.
Mix all the filling ingredients in a bowl.
Take a ball of the potato bread mixture, make a well in it with the fingers, put the filling inside and cover with the potato bread mixture.
Roll the cutlets in the bread crumbs and deep fry them. Serve with tomato sauce or green chutney
