Ajwain wali Arbi

Ingredients :

Arbi – 250 gm
Ajwain – 3 tsp
Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
Dhania powder – ½ tsp
Jeera powder – ½ tsp
Amchur- 1 tsp
Oil – 4 tsp
Salt : as per taste
Juice of 1 lemon


Method :


Boil the arbi in pressure cooker for 1 whistle. Peel and cut into thick roundels.


Heat oil in a pan. Add ajwain. Add the arbi pieces red chilli powder, dhania powder, jeera powder, amchur and salt. Mix well so that the spices coat the arbi evenly. Cook for some time, add lemon juice and serve. Do not overcook as the arbi has already been cooked in the pressure cooker.
